The customer relied heavily on Microsoft 365 for personal and shared file storage within OneDrive and SharePoint. With more than a dozen branch offices, Microsoft Teams enabled employees to easily collaborate on projects in real-time no matter their location.

Sentinel developed a proof-of-concept (POC) Microsoft 365 Copilot engagement for the customer, which enabled a select group of users to evaluate the productivity and efficiency benefits of this solution. It included an AI Readiness Workshop, tenant permissions review, an administrative checklist, and tailored end user training. Sentinel also provided a customizable AI acceptable use policy that could be used to implement M365 Copilot and other AI solutions deployed across the organization. 

The M365 Copilot POC was a success with the customer’s small initial group of early adopters, showing strong usage and positive feedback from users. The customer then expanded the POC to a larger sample for further testing, with the intention of full deployment in the near future.

Sentinel intends to provide more hands-on assistance for some of the more advanced use cases, particularly in the development of an AI strategy and in areas where custom AI solutions would be highly beneficial.
