Sentinel Technologies Achieves Net App Support Services Certification
Downers Grove, IL – May, 2012 – Sentinel Technologies Inc. announced that the company has met the program objectives and resource requirements to provide Net App authorized support through the Net App Support Services Certification Program. According to Net App, partners accepted into the Support Services Program from NetApp are expected to provide for improved customer satisfaction while enabling partners to provide their own brand of support.
Improving customer satisfaction

Program enables partners to provide their own brand of support
Sentinel has been providing their own brand of support - High Availability Network Support or HANS - for over ten years. Over that period, HANS has become a popular option for Sentinel customers who prefer to operate their IT environments on best-in-class IT infrastructures but also want a high touch support model delivered from a flexible, agile and experienced vendor such as Sentinel. Commitment to training, resource availability and deep integration between Sentinel and NetApp are key
Under the NetApp Support Services Program, Sentinel will provide Level 1 and Level 2 NetApp Support Services. In order to provide this level of support, Sentinel first needed to: meet NetApp training and certification standards; follow NA standards for support process and infrastructure capability; add value in the technical support process; and be enabled with training, support tools, and backup support. Additionally Sentinel receives priority case routing for their customers in the program and has full access to NetApp proprietary resources such as the NA Technical Support Centers, parts depot and engineering support that includes bug fixes. Sentinel, as a leader in FlexPod design and deployment for NetApp, also extends the shared support model with HANS to the network core, distribution and access layers moving the single company support model beyond the boundaries of the FlexPod into the entire compute, data center switching, fabric/unified fabric and network environment.
